Conference & Event for Independent Hardware Group

Orbit World Travel were appointed the Conference & Event organisers and produced a 3-day conference and exhibition for over 2000+ attendees, topped off with a Welcome Dinner extravaganza - subsequently becoming Adelaide's largest private outdoor event.

What we did

Organised a 3-Day Conference and Exhibition at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with full event production.

Attendees: 2100+
400+ domestic flight arrangements from ports all over Australia
Accommodation: 1000 room nights in Adelaide across 15 hotels within a 10 minute walk of the Adelaide Convention Centre
Accommodation negotiated rates were $5-$15 cheaper than the average group rate at each hotel and included complimentary WiFi
Coordination of all ground transfers
Eight individual registration sites to accommodate all registrant types – from delegates, exhibitor/suppliers, guests and staff. Each site was unique in set up and customised to the event and relevant to the registrant type. Live reporting was downloadable at any time and customised for each registrant category.
Name badge generation directly from the registration sites
Welcome function 'Independence Dinner' organised outdoors for over 1400 guests

This subsequently and successfully became Adelaide’s largest private event held outdoors. We provided onsite management including 6 onsite Managers & Event staff to manage the event, together with 2 dedicated registration specialists.
