An invitation to experience Scandinavia, differently

There is another side to Scandinavia beyond the familiar capitals and fjords.

This Hosted Journey takes you north, beyond the traditional tourist routes and into a landscape shaped by dramatic mountains, Arctic beaches, remote fishing villages and seemingly endless summer light.

Beginning in Oslo, you will journey through the extraordinary Lofoten Islands and north to Narvik before crossing into Swedish Lapland and continuing to Stockholm.

With just 12 guests and a host who knows this part of the world intimately, the journey offers something increasingly rare: the opportunity to experience Scandinavia at a more personal pace, with local knowledge opening the door to places and experiences you may otherwise miss.

A glimpse of what awaits

Oslo in style

Begin with three nights at the iconic 5-star Grand Hotel Oslo, perfectly positioned to discover the Norwegian capital's museums, maritime heritage, architecture and dining.

The Lofoten Islands

Journey above the Arctic Circle to one of Norway's most spectacular regions. Explore the fishing villages of Henningsvær and Nusfjord, surrounded by soaring mountains, sheltered bays and Arctic beaches.

The Midnight Sun

Take the Narvik Gondola high above the Ofotfjord and experience one of northern Scandinavia's most remarkable natural phenomena, the Midnight Sun.

An Arctic encounter

Travel into the wilderness of Bardu for a privately guided visit to Polar Park, where Arctic species including wolves, bears, lynx, reindeer and moose live within expansive natural surroundings.

A night at the ICEHOTEL

Cross into Swedish Lapland for an unforgettable overnight stay at the world-famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, including the opportunity to sleep in a hand-carved ice suite. A warm room option is also available.

Stockholm

Finish with three nights in Stockholm, with time to discover Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, the Vasa Museum and the city's beautiful waterfront neighbourhoods.

Beautiful stays throughout

From the grandeur of the Grand Hotel Oslo to traditional accommodation in the Lofoten Islands and contemporary luxury in Stockholm, each stay has been selected to complement the destination.

Hosted with local insight

Travel with the reassurance of a host who grew up in northern Norway and brings a genuine understanding of the region, its culture and the places you will experience along the way.

Why choose a hosted journey?

Northern Scandinavia rewards those who venture beyond the obvious.

+ The confidence of travelling with an experienced host who knows northern Norway personally

+ A balance of shared experiences and time to explore at your own pace

This journey is ideal for travellers who want to see Scandinavia beyond the expected, without compromising on comfort or ease.
